Gröna Bladet

A new spice webshop for Gröna Bladet, built on Webflow

We redesigned and rebuilt Gröna Bladet's website as a full spice webshop on Webflow — online sales grew from around 10 a month to more than 400 orders a month.

The client

A world of spices

Gröna Bladet sells spices, spice mixes and vegetarian mixes from all over the world — "en värld av kryddor". We already knew the brand well: we designed its packaging, the green-lidded jars and refill bags you see all over the new site.

The challenge

An old website that couldn't sell

Gröna Bladet had a website, but it didn't match the quality of its products — and it wasn't built for selling online. They needed:

  • A real webshop with a large range, sizes and prices
  • A site that inspires people to cook, not just a product list
  • One look that matches the packaging on the shelf
  • A platform the team can update themselves

Our approach

Designed, built and filled — all in one place

We took care of the whole project:

  • UI/UX design for every page
  • Development on Webflow, so the team can edit products, recipes and news without a developer
  • The webshop: products, categories, sizes and prices, with Klarna and card payments and DHL delivery
  • Content and photos: product images, recipes, texts and the hand-drawn line illustrations

The look comes straight from the packaging: deep forest green, a soft sage background, a warm serif typeface and botanical line drawings of herbs, garlic and star anise.

Home

Inspiration first

The homepage opens with a hand picking fresh green pepper and the line "En värld av kryddor — alltid nya och goda smaker". Then it asks a simple question — "Vilken grön måltid är du sugen på?" — with a scrolling row of dishes, followed by the brand story, recipe ideas and the new Somali spice mixes.

Webshop

A large range, easy to browse

The shop starts with three big doors — Kryddor, Vegomixer and Övrigt — then a search field and a clean grid with every size and price. At the bottom, twelve illustrated categories — from African and Asian spices to baking and organic — help people find what they're looking for.

Product and recipes

Product pages and recipes

Every product page has clear product information and ingredients, and suggests similar products. The recipe section — main courses, vegetarian, fika and sides — gives people a reason to come back, and to try a new spice.

The result

From 10 sales a month to more than 400 orders

Before the new site, Gröna Bladet sold around 10 products a month online. Today the webshop handles more than 400 orders a month — a store that now sells, inspires and grows with the brand.
